Pretty quiet after a massive weekend. Most travelers gather for sunset beers on the beach or a chill dinner.

• 4:00p: Beach Cleanup with Duck Dive

• 8:30p: Paint & Rum @ Sunzal Surf Garden

  • Many of the hostels in town meet here for a paint & sip night

  • Only $1 for supplies

    • Pro tip: If you don't want to walk, find a few friends and split an Uber for about $1 per person!

• 10:00p: Live Music @ Mi Chela

  • Not every week, but check their chalkboard out front, or their Instagram @michelabarcosv.

  • Pirate-themed bar with fantastic micheladas

• 7:00p-11:00p: Live Music & Open Mic @ Mopelia Restaurant & Bar

  • Space is a bit limited, so arrive by 7:30/8ish if you want a seat!

• 9:00p-1:00a: Street Karaoke Party @ Mi Chela

  • Karaoke in the street at a pirate-themed bar

  • Most people show up right after live music ends, so head over a bit early if you want to put your name on the list.

• The Concept: A legendary multi-town pool/beach party crawl on a chicken party bus. Free shots, beach sunsets, and typically a huge water fight in the street.

• The Route: New locations each week- Check the Instagram @wet_wednesdays_el_salvador for each week's details.

• Pro Tip: Everything you bring will get completely soaked. Wear a swimsuit and leave your nice shoes and wallet at the hostel—just bring your phone and cash in a ziplock bag.

• The Tickets: Get presale tickets for $8 online here, in-person at any store with an "authorized vendor" sign in the window, or get a discount if you stay with and buy from any of our partner hostels-

9:00p- Beer Pong Tournament @ Mi Chela

• A high-stakes, bracket-style beer pong tournament to kick off the weekend warm-up.

• $4 per team to enter

• Sign-ups typically end at 8p

• Winner gets a bottle of rum!

• 8p: Pregame @ The Duck Dive or Karma Muse Hotel

• The Main Move: Around 10:00 PM, the pregame winds down, and the mixed local & backpacker crowd migrates down to the beachfront to choose their own adventure across three top spots:

  • Hotel La Guitarra: The go-to spot if you want beachfront live music, rock bands, or heavy reggae vibes. Live music is typically on Fridays, but depends on the week. Check their Instagram @barlaguitarra or their chalkboard out front for weekly information.

  • La Bonita: A massive, aesthetic beach club featuring electronic/reggaeton guest DJs, a packed dance floor, and a poolside party scene.

  • Kako's Gastrobar: A highly energetic bar right on the water known for great drinks, a loud crowd, and high-tempo party music. By far the busiest, but typically charges a $5 cover fee. 

• Essentially the same as Friday, but usually a bit busier.

• 8p: Pregame @ The Duck Dive or Karma Muse Hotel

• The Route: Included shuttle departs from Beach Life Cafe in El Tunco at 4:00 PM and drops you right at Rooftop Beach Hotel & Club, returning everyone back to town at 8:15 PM. Check the Instagram @wet_n_wild_el_salvador for the exact details each week.

• The Chaos: Open bar for the ladies and 2-for-1 beers for the guys

• Pro Tip: Wear your swimwear under your clothes for the shuttle ride. The resort has a pool and direct beach access, and by 5:30 PM, absolutely everyone is in the water watching the sunset.
